Movies Galore

This past month I have seen a good amount of movies in the theaters. Seeing as I now have a movie buddy :) I can go and not have to drag my parents along with me! I LOVE going to the movies, but I'm still getting used to the $11 California price as opposed to the $7.50 Utah price...crazy! No wonder movies are bringing in millions upon millions of dollars on their opening weekends...they raised ticket prices, not because they are popular.

As this blog is turning out to be full of my opinions, I figured I'd share some on the recent flicks.

Fools' Gold - Matt and Kate being the great onscreen couple they are, and the few laughs in this movie are the only reasons to see this one...ONCE.

The Bucket List - funny, touching, FUNNY, and great! Go see it!

Juno - If you have always wondered what it would be like to be a bit more quirky and odd than I am, Juno will show you it's all that it's been cracked up to be. It made me want to go back to high school and do it all over again (minus the teen-pregnancy part)

Step Up 2 - YAYY! Ryan wasn't as impressed with this one as I was, but I loved it. I couldn't help but wish I was watching it with my sisters rather than my boyfriend, seeing as it is full of YUMMY boys (and a quick appearance by Channing Tatum..mmm). Girls, go see this one and you can drag a boy along by telling him the lead girl is not too bad herself.

The Jumper - I had the "privelege" of seeing this movie at the midnight showing the first night it came out. Hayden Christensen is NOT a good actor, but was well casted for the part because the JUMPER is a weird, secluded character. There was no real plot and some parts make you frustrated. Let's just say I wished I was in the opening showing of Step Up 2 next door...

27 Dresses - yes girls, it's still out! You MUST go see this witty chick-flick. Super cute and romantic, I'm definitely buying this one on DVD.

I may have missed one or two movies but now you have my outlook on these movies! I'm dragging Ryan to go see Definitely, Maybe tonight. Its a romantic comedy and probably a chick-flick so I told him I'd pay. I heard it was good!
