4 DAYS AND COUNTING!
Holy cow! I can't believe I'm getting married in 4 days! I'm very glad that we decided to skip the whole "Big Wedding" and avoid the stress. Just planning the trip to Vegas has caused stress! Who's coming, who's staying in what room, what to do for dinner the night before, how will we get to the chapel, how will I wear my hair?!!? The smallest details can make all the difference in the trip...GEEZ!
Tuesday and Wednesday were spent moving in to Ryan's place. OH MAN! I got rid of 3 boxes of clothes, 2 big garbage bags of shoes and I STILL have so many clothes! I hung them up in the closet and I take up 80% (or more) of the closet. Poor Ryan! He said that we'll have to get a 3 bedroom house with walk-in closets for my clothes! "No no, we don't have kids yet, just Jennie's clothes". It's not really THAT bad...Then we spent FOREVER trying to decide how we're gonna arrange the bed with the dressers and night stand...man OH man! Who knew combining our stuff would be so difficult? BUT we also had fun decorating :) A few little changes and this "Bachelor Pad" now feels and looks like HOME! A blanket on the couch, hanging a mirror, hanging a sign, a rug in the kitchen...4 DAYS!!!!!

Mt. Diablo
This past week, Ryan and I made a little trip up to Mt. Diablo. It took about 15 minutes to get there...that's why I say "little". Ryan is selling one of his cars so he wanted to take some cool pictures. Then we got to enjoy the ride down the mountain around the curves...pretty fast :) Here are some pictures of our journey:

IM ENGAAAAGED!!
Last Saturday night Ryan managed to surprise me with a dozen red roses and the most AMAZING ring! 
We're getting married February 16, 2009! In VEGAS! Just the fam is coming and Shannon of course :) Its going to be so much fun, honeymooning there too!
I love Ryan SOOO much, and if you haven't met him you will soon know why I'm so blessed to have him love me back! If you HAVE met him...you know why I love him...most likely you do too!

7, 8, 9
Here are 7 things that happened in 08 written in 2009!

2. I got my first "real" job with benefits and business cards! Construction Testing Services didn't know what they were getting into when they hired me. Best dang Marketing Coordinator out there!
3. I moved out of mom and dad's house and became independent! Got myself some dressers, a bed, bookshelf...it was fun and I know mom and dad were thrilled to have the house to themselves again!
4. My niece Samantha Rose was born June 27th, shes a bundle of joy! Its amazing to watch her grow and learn new things. Babies are amazing.
5. My Ry :) If you wanna hear why timing is EVERYTHING in life and relationships I'll tell you our story. We had a bumpy road but by the end of the year we were (and still are) extremely happy! Never give up on your heart.
6. I became my true self. I learned that true happiness is being who you are and want to be. Answering to yourself and no one else. I've always tried to do what I thought others wanted me to do. Im much happier doing what I want! And the best part is that everyone else still loves me!
7. My car started the slow but steady road to death. I have a 99 Mazda Protege. Back in March I got stuck on the side of the freeway 30 minutes from home waiting for Dad to rescue me b/c something was grinding...dont even remember what that was. Then in May I had to have the complete brake system replaced also. Come August the radiator blew and the fuel pump was feeling it wanted to be replaced. Come December, the check engine light wont stay off! A cylinder died, new starter, new alternator, new battery...I'm still driving a loaner car waiting for it to be fixed.
